![]() ![]() This means that not only do the Seaborn and other inhabitants of the sea know about space, they are interested in it, and want to reach it. But rather than stopping there, they plan to evolve to be able to head into space, through the sky and into the void beyond. Which is an interesting factoid, but I'll come back to it in a bit.įor ease of access, here's the links to the material I'm referencing, though I'll also be using quotes:įirst, the oceanic monsters want to be able to swim through the air, some of them already can do so in fact. (Irene said the High Inquisitor could have turned the street into slag with it if he used it when fighting Skadi, even) Exactly how that works out is probably something that we'll find out eventually, since I think it's inevitable that we'll take a closer look at Laterano sooner or later, and the ending of this event had a big sequel hook.Īnd yeah, Aegir is apparently both a lot more advanced than anyone else, and not using originium technology. This is probably why they have those absurd handcannons that seem able to seriously damage entire buildings. IIRC Iberia actually follows the Church that's HQ'd at Laterano, officially at least. I wasn't quite sure whether to put this here or in the lore thread, but that seemed more oriented towards fanfiction per se, so here we are. With the normal missions finished, I've been thinking about some things that get poked both within it and in some operator files. Darius and Belser Army affinity continues to give considerable bonuses to pulling sealife, looks like. I linked them to some Dariusburst BGM with a topical name (Expecting Her) for encouragement, and she managed to pull her almost immediately. (though it took until the end of my rolling resources for Kal'tsit to show up, and there were several dupes in meantime, including a random off-banner Surtr)Īs a related funny story, someone I know was rolling for Skadi unsuccessfully. My own rolls have been very successful, with the very first roll on the free 10-roll being Skadi the Corrupting Heart. (or her and RI's local Abyss Hunters, rather) Irene and her angry eyebrows were precious, and it certainly sounds like her and Rhodes Island will meet again once more. The inquisitors were also an interesting take on their own archetype. (which is a lot!) It did a good job of making the Ocean appear not so much straightforwardly evil as creepy and alien. ![]() Extremely directly relevant to my interests, even more so than Arknights usually is. ![]()
